Where Winds Meet Strategic Sword Build: Heavenquaker Spear

Strategic Sword applies five Bleed stacks and detonates them; Heavenquaker Spear turns those stacks into combo count, self-buffs and a stronger return window. The build is not a fixed twenty-button script. Read the target's Bleed and your River Flow state, switch weapons for a specific job, then reset before the buffs expire.

Start on Strategic Sword and use the second stage of Inner Track Slash to reach five Bleed stacks. Switch to Heavenquaker Spear, cast Sober Sorrow to build combo and River Flow, then use a first-stage Drifting Thrust to establish the Soul Shaken window. Return to Strategic Sword and chain Inner Balance Strike III into the correctly timed Crosswind Blade follow-up; Sword Horizon consumes five Bleed stacks for High Bleeding. Repeat that Sword pair only while the Spear buffs remain, then rebuild instead of detonating an empty target.

Version 1.7 made the current loop materially different from launch guides: empowered DoT settlement now grants 18% Affinity Damage, Wolfchaser's Art can add High Bleeding through Sweep All during Empowered River Flow, Insightful Strike now scales by HP state and boosts DoT at Tier 6, and Sword Horizon's guaranteed Affinity moved to High Bleeding. Version 1.8 also reduced Second Track Slash charge cost while River Flow-family effects are active. Old fire-breath and keybind scripts predate these rules.

Equip both Bellstrike - Umbra Martial Arts
Use Strategic Sword and Heavenquaker Spear together. The Sword applies and consumes Bleed; the Spear counts those DoT ticks toward Sober Sorrow and turns them into self-buffs. Unlock the third and seventh Martial Art nodes before judging the Path, because Second Track Slash, Inner Balance Strike III, Drifting Thrust and Sweep All are the actual engine.

Build the four Inner Way core
Use Sword Horizon, Wolfchaser's Art, Insightful Strike and Morale Chant. Upgrade Sword Horizon first because its timed Crosswind Blade follow-up creates High Bleeding from five stacks. Wolfchaser lowers the Sober Sorrow combo requirements, Insightful Strike now rewards the Path's DoT and HP state, and Morale Chant supplies a stable ramp. Invigorated Warrior is a clean-play flex, not the safe default when you are still taking hits.

Use the current gear and stat language
Run Hawkwing weapons with Eaglerise armor as the dependable baseline. Prioritize Affinity Rate, Power, Max Physical Attack, Physical Penetration and Max Bellstrike Attack. In older Chinese guides, 會意 maps to Affinity, 飛隼 maps by effect to Hawkwing, and 鷹揚 maps by effect to Eaglerise. Do not chase old 會心 or 精準 advice as though those labels were the current recommendation.

Start on Sword and establish five Bleed stacks
Use the second stage of Inner Track Slash to apply the full Bleed setup. Second Track Slash can also add Bleed and reposition through the target, but it spends Endurance; use it when movement is part of the answer, not simply because it is available. The June update reduces its charge cost while Water Drop or River Flow-family effects are active.

Switch to Spear and earn the buff window
Cast Sober Sorrow after Bleed is active so the DoT contributes to its combo count. Build the higher River Flow state, then use a first-stage Drifting Thrust to apply the Soul Shaken setup without draining the entire Endurance bar. If Empowered River Flow is active and Wolfchaser's Art has the required tier, Sweep All can add another High Bleeding instance under the current May rule.

Return to Sword and detonate with timing
Use Inner Balance Strike III, then press the follow-up at the ending cue to trigger Crosswind Blade. With five Bleed stacks, Sword Horizon removes them and deals High Bleeding. Repeat the pair three or four times only if the build has already reapplied Bleed and the Spear buffs remain; watching the target state matters more than memorizing a fixed count.

Reset before River Flow or Soul Shaken falls off
When the setup is expiring, stop extending the Sword segment and rebuild: five Bleed, Sober Sorrow, Drifting Thrust, then the Sword burst again. Use Cloud Steps or Soaring Spin to recover melee range when the boss moves. Dragon's Breath and Drunken Poet are optional damage Mystics; they no longer define whether the weapon loop works.

Five stacks are both a Spear combo resource and a Sword Horizon burst resource, so the missing self-buff decides the order.

Sober Sorrow reached its buff threshold

End the Spear setup and move to Drifting Thrust or Sweep All.

Continuing a completed setup wastes the short River Flow window that should be feeding the Sword burst.

Empowered River Flow is active

Use Sweep All when Wolfchaser's Art can add High Bleeding.

The May patch created a twelve-second High Bleeding opportunity without clearing the target's existing Bleed stacks.

Boss is moving out

Use Second Track Slash for safe repositioning or hold the burst.

Inner Balance Strike and Crosswind Blade need contact and timing; spending the five-stack detonation into empty space breaks the whole cycle.

The loop was interrupted

Read the remaining Bleed and buffs; rebuild only the missing state.

Restarting from button one can overwrite a usable window or consume Bleed before Sober Sorrow receives its combo value.

Boss is Exhausted

Finish the active High Bleeding window, then execute.

The stationary window is where the repeated Sword follow-up is most reliable, but an available execution should not expire for one extra weak loop.

Crosswind Blade does not trigger High Bleeding

Confirm the target has five Bleed stacks, Sword Horizon is equipped, and the follow-up input lands during the ending cue of Inner Balance Strike III. Pressing too early gives no timed follow-up; pressing after another action may let the window close.

Sober Sorrow never reaches the strong buff

Apply your own Bleed before switching to Spear. Wolfchaser's Art lowers the required combo thresholds and lets Bleed stacks contribute extra count. On a single boss with no Bleed, the six visible spear hits alone do not reproduce the intended setup.

I run out of Endurance before the Sword burst

Stop fully charging Drifting Thrust when the first stage already establishes the setup, and use Second Track Slash for movement rather than filler. The current June rule lowers its cost under Water Drop and River Flow effects, so the order of the loop also improves resource economy.

My old gear guide says only stack 會意

會意 is the old Affinity concept, and Affinity Rate remains first, but a finished current build still needs Power, Max Physical Attack, Physical Penetration and Max Bellstrike Attack. Use the current tuning panel instead of treating a 2025 single-stat argument as the complete roll plan.

Eaglerise did not save the next hit

Eaglerise builds through DoT, but its large guard effect has a cooldown and is weaker against bosses. Treat it as occasional insurance, not permission to finish Inner Balance Strike through a lethal mechanic. Move first, then resume from the remaining Bleed state.

The old rotation says Dragon's Breath is mandatory

It was used to solve an old hidden combo interaction. The current published loop generates its state through Strategic Sword Bleed, Sober Sorrow, Drifting Thrust and the weapon swap. Dragon's Breath plus Drunken Poet is still a useful optional Mystic package, but a missing fire cast should not disable Bellstrike - Umbra.
