Search an English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, pinyin, or older guide name. Each result tells you whether the match is usable now, needs context, or belongs only to the current CN content line.
Version numbers are not shared across every region. As of this check, Global and HMT are on the Version 1.8 line while the CN update index is already on 2.7.0B. A Chinese guide can identify the right item or activity and still give the wrong menu, timing, balance state, or availability for a Global player.
Playing the Global client
Use the current English client or official Global page as the final name, menu, unlock, and availability reference.
Reading an HMT guide
Traditional Chinese is a useful name bridge. Match the entity and version, then open the current English owner page before acting.
Reading a CN guide
Treat Simplified Chinese material as a different content line unless a current Global source confirms the same feature, route, or reward.

The status is the important part. A confirmed bridge identifies the same entity across official regional sources. A context check needs a mode or menu qualifier. A CN-only watch row is not a live Global feature claim.

A larger CN version number does not mean the Global client skipped patches. The regions use different release histories and content labels. Compare dates, features, and official client text.

Are CN Where Winds Meet guides wrong for Global players?
Not necessarily. They may describe a different content line, older patch, different localization, or feature that Global has not received. Use them as a lead, then confirm the current Global client or official English source.
Are HMT and Global on the same version?
The checked official HMT and Global pages are both on Version 1.8, but menu wording and localized names can still differ. A matching version number does not make Traditional Chinese the final English label.
Which name should I search first?
Search the current Global English name first. If an older video or Chinese guide uses another name, search that alias in this finder and open the linked owner page.
Can I copy a CN build or route into the Global client?
Only after checking that the Path, skills, items, version, and unlock state match the current Global client. Balance and content schedules differ enough that a direct copy can waste resources or send you to unavailable content.
Why keep Chinese names on an English guide site?
They help players identify older guides, screenshots, videos, and regional patch notes. The Chinese name is a discovery aid; the current English owner page remains the instruction source.
