Where Winds Meet Daily and Weekly Checklist

A short routine for players who want the recurring rewards without turning Jianghu into unpaid shift work: protect regenerating resources and claims daily, then handle Guild, Sect, shops, Battle Pass, and bag cleanup once per week.

Pinned answer

Protect expiring claims and natural regeneration; the rest can wait.

Each day, check mail and current notices, inspect the Seasonal Battle Pass tasks, use naturally recovered Energy before it sits capped, and collect anything that expires at the next server reset. Each week, finish or claim Guild and Sect progress, review weekly-limited growth items, recycle unused gear, and clear any Outpost or activity reward you intentionally targeted. Do not complete every icon simply because it has a timer.

Daily reset anchor

21:00 UTC; verify live countdown

Daily priority

Claims and natural Energy

Weekly priority

Guild, Sect, Battle Pass, shops, bag

The current English reset reference records the daily rollover at 21:00 UTC. Some guides label the same moment as 4:00 PM EST, which becomes confusing during daylight-saving months. Use UTC as the planning anchor and trust the live shop, task, or event countdown if your client shows a different schedule.

Action plan

One five-minute daily pass and one weekly cleanup.

  1. 1

Check notices, mail, events, and the Seasonal Battle Pass

Claim completed rewards before doing new chores. Scan daily and weekly Battle Pass tasks for objectives that overlap with what you already planned to play; do not build the entire session around a low-value task.

  2. 2

Check Solo Mode Level only when progression is blocked

Open Mode Switch, then Solo Mode Level, to see today's cap and the next unlock condition. The account-day cap rises even when you do not reach yesterday's maximum, so missing a day does not freeze future cap increases.

  3. 3

Spend natural Energy before it overflows

Use enough Energy on an Outpost, material activity, or upgrade route you currently need so regeneration continues. Keep recovery items for a time-sensitive clear or weekly objective rather than using them as part of an automatic daily ritual.

  4. 4

Review daily-limited purchases and one optional home bonus

Buy a daily-limited item only when it solves a known need. For a cosmetic side stop, the golden mirror at the Blissful Retreat home can be used twice daily for two random hairstyles when that home interaction is available.

  5. 5

Advance Guild, Sect, and weekly Battle Pass tasks together

Guild checklists and Sect tasks refresh weekly, while their objectives can often be progressed during ordinary play. Review them early enough to combine objectives instead of leaving a separate grind for the final hour before reset.

  6. 6

Finish the weekly shop and bag pass before its countdown ends

Check the Wandering Paths Shop, Guild Red Gold Boutique, and other shops marked weekly. Buy growth items that remove a current bottleneck, claim completed weekly rewards, recycle gear you no longer use, and leave unwanted cosmetics or speculative materials on the shelf.

Decision table

What deserves attention when the reset timer is close.

Mail or event claim expires

Claim it before starting a long activity.

An earned reward can disappear at reset; claiming it costs less time than rebuilding the progress.

Energy is near cap

Spend natural Energy on a known current need.

Regeneration stops at the cap, while recovery items remain flexible in your inventory.

Main Chapter is level-gated

Check Mode Switch > Solo Mode Level and its next condition.

The block may be an account-day cap or breakthrough requirement rather than missing EXP.

Daily shop item is limited

Buy only when it solves today's material, Martial Art, or Career need.

A daily limit creates scarcity, not automatic value.

Guild or Sect weekly is incomplete

Look for objectives that overlap with Battle Pass or normal play.

Stacking objectives keeps the weekly from becoming a separate chore list.

Weekly growth item is available

Check price, stock, alternate sources, and the bottleneck it removes.

Growth items are usually more defensible than cosmetics, but only when the account can use them now.

Bag is full of old gear

Keep active sets and loadouts, then recycle obsolete pieces.

Recycling returns resources and prevents inventory cleanup from interrupting the next activity.

A seasonal task is almost over

Read the event's own end time instead of assuming the normal reset applies.

Seasonal and event schedules can end independently of ordinary daily and weekly systems.

Problem fixes

Reset pressure has four common causes and none require doing everything.

My daily tasks did not reset when a local guide said they would

Compare the live task countdown with 21:00 UTC. EST and EDT labels can shift the displayed local hour even when the UTC rollover is unchanged. Server region, maintenance, or a separate event timer can also override a generic conversion table.

The Main Chapter says my level is capped

Open the Mode Switch icon and inspect Solo Mode Level. The cap increases according to account days even if you did not reach the prior cap; complete the shown breakthrough or wait for the next account-day unlock rather than farming EXP blindly.

I cannot finish every daily activity

Prioritize expiring claims and capped natural resources, then do the route you actually enjoy. Most exploration, Side Stories, and ordinary map cleanup can be resumed later and should not displace a real-world schedule.

I missed a weekly shop purchase

The stock returns on a future refresh unless it was tied to a limited event. Note the actual bottleneck and keep the currency ready next cycle; do not compensate by spending premium currency or buying unrelated items.

Daily

Claim and uncap

Collect expiring rewards and keep natural Energy regenerating.

Weekly

Stack objectives

Combine Guild, Sect, Battle Pass, shops, and normal activities where possible.

Shops

Need before limit

A limited item is useful only when it removes a current bottleneck.

Events

Read their own timer

Seasonal content may not follow the ordinary daily or weekly rollover.

Sources and questions

Where the current rules came from, plus the next useful route.

What is the daily reset time in Where Winds Meet?

The current English reference records the daily reset at 21:00 UTC. Use the live task or shop countdown if maintenance, region, daylight-label confusion, or an event shows a different time.

What should I do every day?

Claim expiring mail and event rewards, check Battle Pass overlap, inspect Solo Mode Level when blocked, spend natural Energy before it caps, and buy only the daily-limited items that solve a current need.

What should I do every week?

Claim Guild, Sect, and Battle Pass progress; review weekly-limited growth items; recycle unused gear; use planned Outpost or activity rewards; and collect everything before the displayed reset countdown ends.

Do I lose Solo Mode Level progress if I skip a day?

No. The available account-day cap continues to rise even if you did not reach the previous day's maximum. You may still need to complete the displayed breakthrough condition before raising your world level.

Do I need to finish every daily and weekly task?

No. Protect expiring claims and capped resources first, then choose objectives that overlap with your normal play. Exploration and ordinary side content can wait without turning the account into a failed routine.
