    Identify the activity

    Game-world names such as Rong Yuan, Xiong Er, Nine Mortal Ways, or Kaifeng cases usually belong to Eastern Herald. History, classics, medicine, calendar, and math questions usually belong to Scholars' Hearth.

    Search one durable clue

    Use a name, number, book, quotation fragment, or answer concept. Short searches survive localization differences better than pasting the entire English sentence.

    Current English wording can be matched directly. A CN archive row is an English lookup gloss beside the original Chinese question and answer, so choose by meaning rather than expecting identical punctuation.

    Use the copy icon for the answer text. Scholars' Hearth option letters can move, and Eastern Herald options may be reordered, so answer content is safer than A, B, C, or D.

common failures

The finder does not show my question

Remove common words and search the rarest name, quotation, number, book, place, or Chinese characters. The archive is indexed by questions, answers, aliases, and original source text.

The answer wording is different in my client

Use Current English wording first. When a result is marked CN archive, compare the meaning and the original Chinese answer; the English text is a search gloss, not a promise of the exact Global option label.

There is no Prize Quiz today

Eastern Herald alternates between Prize Quiz and Daily Topic in current English references. A Daily Topic is a vote, so switch to the Daily Topic tab instead of looking for one guaranteed correct answer.

I missed an Eastern Herald day

Current documentation says previous entries can be opened again before the weekly window ends. Check the newspaper's earlier dates rather than waiting for the same question to rotate back.

My Scholars' Hearth option letters do not match

Ignore the letter. Current player documentation reports that A/B/C/D order changes while the answer text stays stable. Match the answer wording itself.

Scholars' Hearth will not let me join

Return to Online mode, leave any active Leisure or co-op room, then retry. If the room state appears stuck, teleport to another area or relog before queueing again.

A source row looks malformed

One original Honglu row is visibly incomplete, and several source answers contain old spellings or typographical errors. Those rows remain labeled in the finder so they are searchable without silently inventing a missing question.

I found a new current English question

Treat it as a new pool entry rather than assuming the archive already proves the Global sentence. Record the full question and answer text, then compare it with the Chinese row before merging aliases.

Are the 225 archive answers exact Global wording?

No. They are English lookup translations paired with the original Chinese questions and answers. Rows marked Current English wording are the smaller set that can be compared directly with current Global text.

Why does the finder include Chinese text?

The Chinese question and answer make name changes, transliteration differences, and source typos auditable. They also let players search a screenshot or copied Chinese phrase without guessing its English localization.

Does Scholars' Hearth always use the same questions?

Current player reports describe a rotating multiplayer pool and note that different daily sets may appear. Keep the finder open, but expect new questions to be added over time.

Where is Scholars' Hearth?

Current player documentation places Scholars' Hearth in Blissful Retreat and describes it as multiplayer-only. Enter Online mode and clear any active room state before trying to join.

Can I use an answer letter instead of the answer text?

Do not rely on the letter. Option order can change, especially in Scholars' Hearth. Match the answer text shown in the finder to the option currently visible in your game.
