Before assuming the quest is bugged
Check 1
Copy the exact quest title
Include the English title, quest type, and region in the search. Similar source-side names can point to different Global quests.
Check 2
Re-read the active clue
Check whether the log points to a person, a broad search area, an item, an activity, or a time and story-state condition.
Check 3
Check the prerequisite
Look for an earlier conversation, item, encounter, stronghold, map entry, or regional story step before retracing the final route.
Check 4
Check where the NPC moved
Inspect nearby vertical levels and the current story state. A missing NPC may belong to a later location or a different phase of the area.

Match the meaning, not copied wording
For friendship and dialogue prompts, follow the intended response direction shown on the page rather than expecting Chinese and Global options to match word for word.
