Dark section of the map

Look for the local Wayfarer or the region's map-unlock step. Boundary Stones handle fast travel after activation; they are not the same as map reveal.

Missing completion percentage

Check the Sentient Beings categories for the area, then narrow the missing row to an activity, Oddity, chest, NPC, or route-state trigger.

Pin exists but no prompt appears

Search the nearby vertical level and shoreline or cave entrance, then check time, story state, prerequisite item, and whether the pin marks an area rather than the exact interaction.

Chinese and English names disagree

Search both names. This index keeps Chinese title clues on region pages so older routes still lead to the current English guide.

Know which kind of page you opened

A live map is for pins and filters. A route guide is for order, prerequisites, underground levels, and story-state blockers. A region index is for deciding which of those two you need.

Start with the Region Collection Guide, select Qinghe, Kaifeng, or Hexi and the current subregion, then choose one point type. A chest, Oddity, activity, NPC trigger, and story-gated collectible need different checks.

Why is part of my map still dark?

Check the region's map-unlock step or local Wayfarer first. Boundary Stones unlock fast travel after activation, but they do not replace every map-reveal requirement.

Does every guide include exact coordinates?

No. Focused pages give exact route order or positions only when the location is sufficiently checked. Otherwise they identify the area, object type, blocker, and next in-game check without presenting a guessed pin as exact.
