Count the physical bells from left to right, then shoot positions 3, 4, 1, and 2. Legacy CN screenshot from the original author guide; the puzzle layout is the useful evidence here.

Track Blind to the World as Qinghe Jianghu Legacy 04, speak with Unfated Tian, and operate all three contraptions under the lake. Solve the statue plates North, East, South, West. At the bell gate, touch the Moonlit Flowers, activate the pedestal, and shoot the slabs above bells 3-4-1-2 from left to right. Give Unfated Tian the Frost-Laced Box, offer the Moonlit Flower to the Lunar Goddess, and leave through the lower crevice.

The three broken letters from older routes are optional lore. They are not required for the Moonlit Flower offering, the exit, or the Blinding Mist unlock.

Main quest route

  1. 01

    Track Jianghu Legacy 04 in Qinghe

    Open the Qinghe Exploration menu, inspect Jianghu Legacy 04, and track Blind to the World. If it is still locked, speak with the Wayfarer for Moonveil Mountain first. Follow the revealed marker to the deep lake and speak with Unfated Tian; some English indexes shorten his name to Uncle Tian.

  2. 02

    Drain the lake with all three contraptions

    Dive to the drainage point and use Wind Sense. Three chains lead away from the drain to three separate contraptions, each beside a chest. Operate all three, surfacing whenever the breath meter gets low, then return to Unfated Tian after the lake drains.

  3. 03

    Step on the statue plates north, east, south, west

    Stand on the large slab beside Unfated Tian to reveal four smaller directional plates. Step on them in N-E-S-W order. If you make a mistake, use the large slab again to reset the sequence instead of leaving the area.

  4. 04

    Burn the ribbon traps and take the right-hand cave

    Enter the opened passage and shoot the hanging ribbon traps with fire arrows before walking through them. At the collapsed bridge, the main route turns into the cave on the right and descends underwater. The chest left of the nearby stairs is optional.

  5. 05

    Follow the underwater current and protect your breath

    Touching the blue Moonlit Flowers darkens the screen but reveals the current you need to follow. Swim down toward the tracked objective and use the two shafts of light as air pockets. One optional cavern chest triggers a cave-in, so refill your breath before detouring for it.

  6. 06

    Solve the bell gate with 3-4-1-2

    At the four-bell gate, touch a Moonlit Flower before activating the pedestal. Count the bells from left to right, then shoot the stone slabs above bells 3, 4, 1, and 2 in that order. The normal-vision pattern is a decoy; the flower's blindness effect reveals the real sequence through sound.

  7. 07

    Take the Frost-Laced Box and hand it to Unfated Tian

    Pass through the opened gate, approach the Lunar Goddess, and take the Frost-Laced Box from the table. Give that box to Unfated Tian before trying to collect the two offering items downstairs; the lower interactions may stay unavailable until this handoff is complete.

  8. 08

    Offer the Moonlit Flower and leave through the crevice

    Go down the stairs behind the table, collect the Small Blade and the still-glowing Moonlit Flower, then return to the Lunar Goddess and offer the Moonlit Flower. Head downstairs again, pass behind the clothes rack, squeeze through the wall crevice, and leave on the raft to finish the quest and receive Blinding Mist.

Mystic Skill

Blinding Mist

Completing the quest unlocks the offensive/support mist skill. It blinds eligible targets and creates a setup for Touch of Death; mighty enemies can ignore the control effect.

The current reward list maps the old 塵封嫁衣 source row to Dusty Wedding Dress. This route is the obtain path; do not search event shops or redeem codes for it.

Stone cache

The three-round statue puzzle opens a separate cache after the story. It is optional and does not block Blinding Mist or the quest completion state.

Blind to the World is absent from my journalOpen Qinghe Exploration, ask the Moonveil Mountain Wayfarer, and inspect Jianghu Legacy 04. Tracking the entry reveals Unfated Tian instead of requiring a blind search around the lake.
The lake will not drainUse Wind Sense at the bottom and follow every chain away from the drain. There are three contraptions; operating one or two leaves the quest in the same flooded state.
The statue plates stopped respondingStep on the large central slab again, then enter North, East, South, West from the beginning. Do not continue from the plate where the mistake happened.
I keep drowning in the flooded caveEnter with a full breath meter and use the light beams as surface points. Leave the cave-in chest and other optional loot until the main path and the second air pocket are clear.
The 3-4-1-2 bell order does nothingTouch the blue Moonlit Flowers first, activate the pedestal while the blindness effect is active, and shoot the slabs above the bells rather than the bell bodies. Count positions from left to right.
I cannot collect the Small Blade or Moonlit FlowerTake the Frost-Laced Box from the upper table and give it to Unfated Tian first. The lower offering step follows that handoff.
The quest ended but Blinding Mist is not on my combat barConfirm you left through the lower crevice and raft, then open Develop > Mystic Skills. Ownership and equipment are separate: assign Blinding Mist to an available slot or replace another skill.
The optional statue cache will not startFinish the quest, return to the drained-lake statue, and stand on the large slab. If nothing happens, use the menu to pass time before trying the slab again.

How do you start Blind to the World in Where Winds Meet?

What is the Blind to the World statue puzzle answer?

Offer the Moonlit Flower to the Lunar Goddess. The Small Blade is the wrong choice for fulfilling the old wish.

Does Blind to the World unlock Blinding Mist?

Yes. Finish the offering, leave through the lower crevice and raft, then check Develop > Mystic Skills for Blinding Mist and equip it in an available slot.

Is 紅塵障目 the same skill as Blinding Mist?

Yes. 紅塵障目 / 红尘障目 is the original Chinese name used by older guides, while Blinding Mist is the current Global English name.

How do you open the optional stone cache after the quest?

Return to the drained-lake statue and use the large slab. Complete three rounds: South-West-North-East, East-North-West-South, then West-North-East-South. Pass time if the puzzle does not activate.

Where does Dusty Wedding Dress come from?

Dusty Wedding Dress is part of the current Blind to the World reward list. The old 塵封嫁衣 article and the current English quest reward point to the same outfit route.
