Where Winds Meet Healer Build: Panacea Fan and Umbrella

Use Panacea Fan as the active healer and Soulshade Umbrella as the passive support layer. The build works when you keep Dew moving, predict group damage, and save the expensive heal for an actual emergency instead of pressing every recovery skill at once.

Pinned answer

For group PvE, pair Panacea Fan with Soulshade Umbrella and play around Dew.

Open on Soulshade Umbrella with Floating Grace and Echoes of a Thousand Plants, then switch to Panacea Fan. Use Cloudburst Healing for the healing zone and Dew gain, refill with ranged heavy attacks, and spend Light Dust After Morning Rain only when a low ally needs focused recovery or a fallen ally must be revived. This is the complete Silkbind - Deluge healer; Panacea Fan plus a damage weapon is the easier solo hybrid, but it gives up the Umbrella's passive healing and Dew support.

Natural Path

Silkbind - Deluge

Active weapon

Panacea Fan for Dew spending and emergency healing

Support weapon

Soulshade Umbrella for passive healing, Dew and team damage

The published loadout predates the latest official changes. Version 1.7 increased Floating Grace to 24% when Panacea Fan is equipped and extended Restoring Blossom uptime; the June 25 update made Panacea Fan's Silkbind Heal and Damage bonuses scale from Minimum Silkbind Attack. Those changes strengthen the natural pair and the stat priority without replacing the basic Dew loop.

Build plan

Set up the healer and run one repeatable seven-step loop.

  1. 1

    Equip both Deluge Martial Arts

The build needs the Panacea Fan and Soulshade Umbrella Martial Arts, not just two weapon models. Panacea Fan owns direct healing, the Water Clone and resurrection; Soulshade Umbrella supplies a persistent healing object, Dew support and Floating Grace. If one Martial Art is still locked, finish that unlock before spending on specialized gear.

  2. 2

Build the four Inner Way core

Use Royal Remedy, Restoring Blossom, Mending Loom and Morale Chant for the stable PvE setup. Royal Remedy improves the Water Clone and resource flow, Restoring Blossom rewards critical healing, Mending Loom links Umbrella use to Dew and self-recovery, and Morale Chant ramps through normal attacking or healing. Esoteric Revival is a revive-focused swap, not the default slot for a group that stays healthy.

  3. 3

Prioritize the stats that feed both healing and survival

Start with Min-Max Silkbind Attack, then Min-Max Physical Attack. Agility and Critical Rate support critical-heal consistency; HP and Defense are the fallback when survival is the reason casts are being interrupted. The June 25 talent adjustment makes Minimum Silkbind Attack especially relevant because it now feeds both the Fan's Silkbind Heal and Damage bonuses.

  4. 4

    Open on Soulshade Umbrella

Cast Floating Grace first, then Echoes of a Thousand Plants and switch weapons. The Umbrella should remain in the field healing the lowest-HP nearby target while you work on Panacea Fan. Refresh it before it disappears; do not wait for the party to be low before rebuilding the passive layer.

  5. 5

Use Cloudburst, then rebuild Dew with heavy attacks

Place Cloudburst Healing where the group will stand, not where it stood two seconds ago. It provides immediate Dew and a healing zone; at full Dew it can create the Water Clone for a later burst. Between damage events, use the Fan's ranged heavy attacks to recover Dew and help the lowest-HP ally instead of idling or spending another cooldown.

  6. 6

Reserve Light Dust for the danger window

Light Dust After Morning Rain costs 50 Dew and heals you plus the lowest-HP party member over time. Recasting too quickly overwrites rather than stacks the effect, so one deliberate cast is better than panic double-tapping. When a valid ally is down, the skill becomes the resurrection action and consumes the resource for that rescue.

  7. 7

Re-enter the loop before the next mechanic

After the emergency passes, restore Dew, refresh Umbrella uptime and move toward the next safe group position. Use the Umbrella charged heavy to extend a stagger only when healing is already stable. The healer's real rotation is preparation, response and recovery; chasing damage during the recovery step is what leaves the next mechanic uncovered.

Choice table

Choose the next action from the party state, not a fixed button list.

Fight just started

Floating Grace, Echoes of a Thousand Plants, then switch to Panacea Fan.

The passive Umbrella layer should exist before the first damage event, and Floating Grace is strongest when the natural weapon pair is equipped.

Party is stable

Use Fan heavy attacks and preserve Light Dust.

Heavy attacks rebuild Dew and continue useful healing; spending the emergency tool at full health creates a resource hole later.

Group damage is incoming

Pre-place Cloudburst where the team will resolve the mechanic.

The old Chinese healer notes correctly emphasize prediction: healing after everyone scatters is harder than preparing the shared safe area.

One ally is collapsing

Cast one Light Dust After Morning Rain and keep rebuilding Dew.

It follows the lowest-HP target and gives sustained focused recovery; a second immediate cast does not stack the effect.

An ally is down

Target the fallen ally and use the Resurrection version of Light Dust.

Use the long-cooldown rescue on the player whose role keeps the attempt alive, then Cloudburst and heavy attacks to recover the Dew loop.

Party is spread out

Favor the wide Umbrella response and move before committing a Fan cast.

Range is part of healing throughput. The original raid notes call out split mechanics because a correct skill used from the wrong position still misses the job.

Solo progression

Keep Panacea Fan beside a learned damage weapon if full Deluge feels too slow.

The pure pair trades clear speed for group sustain. A Sword-Fan hybrid is more practical when there is no team to benefit from the Umbrella layer.

Build fixes

Six healer problems and the action that actually fixes them.

I am always out of Dew

Stop treating every global-cooldown gap as a heal. Keep Echoes of a Thousand Plants active, use Cloudburst for its Dew gain, and fill calm seconds with Fan heavy attacks. If Light Dust is being used on healthy allies, that is the first leak to remove.

Light Dust did not save the second target

The effect does not stack cleanly when recast immediately. Use one cast, check who it selected, then cover the rest of the group with Cloudburst, the Umbrella layer or positioning instead of overwriting the first heal.

My Water Clone feels weak

Check Royal Remedy, the owned breakthrough tier, and whether Cloudburst was used at the condition that creates the Clone. Stand in the healing area when the Inner Way requires it, and compare the current tooltip before assuming a finished showcase value.

Teammates die outside my range

Move before the mechanic, not after the health bars drop. Place Cloudburst on the destination, keep the Umbrella where it can reach the lowest-HP ally, and reserve the wider response for forced spread. No stat roll fixes a cast that never reaches the target.

I die while trying to heal

HP and Defense become valid once positioning is no longer the problem. Eaglerise is the safer armor baseline because repeated healing builds mitigation; a dead healer gets no value from another offensive substat.

The build feels useless in PvP

Healing is reduced and pressure is faster in Arena, so the PvE loop is not a PvP promise. Use Serene Breeze for control escape, value Vitality and counterplay, and treat the pure healer as an attrition route rather than expecting raid-level recovery.

Gear baseline

Ivorybloom + Eaglerise

Ivorybloom rewards full-HP critical healing; Eaglerise converts repeated healing into a safer damage-reduction layer.

Core resource

Dew is the rotation

Umbrella uptime, Cloudburst and Fan heavies create it; Light Dust and emergency actions spend it.

Revive rule

Save the long rescue

Revive the role that stabilizes the attempt, then immediately rebuild Dew and the passive healing layer.

Old guide lesson

Prediction beats panic

Forced spread, range and incoming mechanics decide whether the same heal is early, late or completely wasted.

Sources and questions

Current rules, original articles, and the next useful route.

What is the best healer build in Where Winds Meet?

For dedicated group PvE healing, Panacea Fan plus Soulshade Umbrella is the complete Silkbind - Deluge route. Panacea Fan handles direct recovery and resurrection while the Umbrella supplies persistent healing, Dew and team support.

What are the best Inner Ways for Panacea Fan healer?

Use Royal Remedy, Restoring Blossom, Mending Loom and Morale Chant for the stable PvE core. Esoteric Revival is a situational revive-focused replacement rather than the default slot.

How do I get more Dew?

Keep the Soulshade Umbrella effect active, use Cloudburst Healing for its immediate Dew gain, and attack with Panacea Fan heavy attacks during calm windows. Avoid spending Light Dust when the party is already safe.

Can Panacea Fan revive teammates?

Yes. When a valid ally is fallen, Light Dust After Morning Rain changes to the resurrection action. It is a long-cooldown, high-resource rescue, so use it on the role most likely to stabilize the attempt.

What stats should a healer prioritize?

Start with Min-Max Silkbind Attack, then Min-Max Physical Attack, Agility and Critical Rate. Use HP and Defense when survival or interrupted casts are the limiting problem.

Is Panacea Fan and Soulshade Umbrella good for solo play?

It is extremely safe but clears slowly. For normal solo progression, pairing Panacea Fan with a learned damage weapon such as Nameless Sword is often more efficient while preserving healing and resurrection utility.
