Pinned answer

Start with the death, not with a new build.

Pick the boss below, name the phase or attack that ended the run, then practice that one job for several attempts. Keep a familiar setup while learning so timing, spacing, and stamina mistakes do not get disguised as a gear problem.

  1. Step 1

    Name the boss

  2. Step 2

    Name the wipe

  3. Step 3

    Practice one cue

Three-phase practice

Qianye

千夜

A controlled pull turns into vanish pressure and late-phase panic.

Open the phase that ended the attempt. Learn P1, P2, and P3 as separate fights instead of changing the whole build.

Spacing and clones

Tian Ying

田英

Phase 2 corners the camera; phase 3 adds clone and flash-stab pressure.

Preserve open space in P2, then use the focused page to separate the true threat from clone pressure in P3.

Move-family recognition

Bai Langzhu

White Wolf Lord · 白狼主

Claw, blade, charge, and flying-knife starters blur together.

Name the opener before pressing. The focused page separates move families so one safe rhythm is not forced onto every string.

Distance discipline

Sleeping Daoist

Shui Daoren · 睡道人

Rocks and missiles keep resolving while the boss appears punishable.

Finish the ranged pattern before spending the opening. Use the route page to split phase-1 rhythms from phase-2 pressure.

Stamina and enders

Elder Gongsun

Gongsun Daye · 公孫大爺

Kick strings drain stamina, while palm and toad branches punish early retaliation.

Learn the normal route first. Keep ranged bait, behavior loops, and corner tricks in the patch-sensitive skip section.

Full-string discipline

Xiao Shiqi

Little Seventeen · 小十七

Slow early attacks hide fixed follow-ups, then phase 2 punishes greed.

Finish the whole P1 string before attacking. In P2, dodge the first hit and parry only the follow-ups you can read.

Before the pull

Prepare for learning, not for a one-attempt miracle.

1

Keep one familiar setup

Use several learning pulls before changing weapons or Inner Ways. A new setup can hide whether the real failure was timing, spacing, or stamina.

2

Choose one cue to learn

Do not try to perfect an entire fight at once. Pick the phase, opener, projectile row, or combo ender that ended the last attempt.

3

Protect recovery space

Enter with the recovery items and defensive tolerance you already use. They buy observation time; they do not replace the mechanic.

4

Ignore old shortcuts first

Terrain, ranged-bait, pause, and behavior-loop routes can break after updates. Learn the ordinary fight before testing a labeled shortcut.

Bloodbath FAQ

Short answers before the next attempt.

Which Bloodbath boss guide should I open first?

Open the boss that ended the pull, then start with the exact phase or mechanic named on its card. This page is the chooser; the focused page owns the detailed fight notes.

Should I change my build after every Bloodbath loss?

No. Keep a familiar setup for several learning pulls so you can identify whether the failure is a cue, string, spacing, stamina, or phase problem. Change the build only after the repeated failure is clear.

What do red and gold boss attacks mean?

Red asks for a Perfect Parry. Gold or yellow asks for a dodge. The Boss Mechanics Guide owns the full warning-color and Qi-break explanation.

Are old Bloodbath cheese routes reliable?

Treat them as patch-sensitive. A route that depends on terrain, AI behavior, pausing, or ranged bait should remain labeled until it is retested on the current Global client.

Why does this guide show Chinese aliases?

The aliases help players match older videos and the author's original Chinese guides to the current fight. They are discovery aids, not proof that every historical move name or timing still matches Global.
