four first checks

Start with outfit, face accessory, mount, pet, trace item, badge, or achievement. The same source article may mix several obtain systems.
Identify the obtain lane
Check whether the route belongs to story progress, exploration, faction reputation, a shop, a boss, a quest, an achievement, or a timed event.
Check whether it is still available
Permanent progression and old campaign rewards need different advice. Verify the current client, region, platform, and event date before spending currency or time.
Confirm the reward screen
A completed quest is not always the item claim. Check the wardrobe, stable, inventory, achievement toast, mailbox, chest, or collection entry that actually records the reward.
Name and date boundary
Old names help you search; the current client decides what is obtainable.
CN and HMT guides remain useful for route discovery. Do not treat their item names, shop prices, event windows, or platform rewards as current Global facts until the matching wardrobe or reward screen is visible.

4.Confirm completion in the trace collection, not only inventory.
Craftsman Gloves, Evil-Warding Wraps, and Iron Heart Armor each mix pickup and later trace states. Treating them as one-step drops causes most confusion.

How can I tell whether a cosmetic is still obtainable?
Check the current wardrobe or shop source, then verify the event menu, official notice date, region, platform, account binding, currency, and claim screen. An old article can identify the item without proving that its campaign is still active.
When do mounts unlock in Where Winds Meet?
The current English mount guide says the mount system opens after the main story reaches General's Shrine. Individual mounts can still require a separate shop, quest, exploration, stronghold, clue-item, or capture route.
How does the Linlang Snow hidden mount route start?
The author source starts with a first clear of Cangfeng Tunnel, which awards a Silver Horsewhip. The whip leads to the mount location, where a horse-catching mini-game completes the route. Confirm the exact Global labels and marker in your client.
How do I get the goose pet?
Find the Diseased Goose in Moonveil Mountain between Blissful Retreat and Heaven's Pier, use Wind Sense, and complete the treatment successfully for a Sturdy or Sickly Goose Egg. Use the egg for a temporary follower. Fail the treatment only when you want Goose Slayer and the Deranged Goose Egg branch.
Why does a Chinese item name not match my Global client?
CN, HMT, and Global releases may use different names and transliterations. Search the old title as an alias, then match the icon, category, region, obtain source, and final name displayed in your own wardrobe, inventory, stable, or achievement toast.
Is Iron Heart Armor a direct boss drop?
The available source does not support calling it a direct drop. It links the route to defeating Ye Wanshan, following a post-fight marker, entering a nearby tower, and opening a chest, with a later trace step after that.
